Create a frightening look without spending a fortune

All you need is some old clothes, a zombie make-up kit and a plastic chain

Dress the part: Choose old clothes and distress them with a few rips.

Create zombie skin: Apply a thin layer of liquid latex, add a single layer of tissue and allow it to dry.

Build up thin layers, letting each dry completely.

Add peeling effects: Gently pull small openings in the dried latex to create torn, peeling skin.Apply your make-up:

Use white cream make-up for a pale complexion and black to shade your cheeks and around your eyes, avoiding the eyes themselves.

Finish with fake blood: Dab a little around the latex tears, then grab your plastic chain and practise your zombie shuffle!
